Language: Pintupi

Artist Background: George Ward Tjungurrayi was born cerca 1955 near the site of Lararra, east of Tjukurla in Western Australia. He began painting in 1984 in Yayayi and Waruwiya Outstations close to Mount Liebig and Kintore. George Ward Tjungurrayi and his circular "Tingari" works have been exhibited widely nationally and internationally and form part of many public and private collections.
